So we’ve established that not only are Pharma, banks, weapons and oil companies holding politicians in their pockets by using donations and golden handshakes but also the entertainment industry. Here in the UK we call this a conflict of interests and such practices would send our masters to prison.

The United States was sold to big business many years ago when the Fed Res appeared and now they are all bidding for a piece of the pie by purchasing pocket rocket politicians.

As for the internet, its days are limited anyway. The big sites are all losing traffic as people surf less and use apps and phones to access information instead. The question is, will they succeed in dumbing down the populace so they trough down the spoon fed lies and corruption that keep the common under control?

Great article. I hope any Americans reading this take action, learn about proxies and how to jump through hoops. Many of us small webmasters are concerned with how this is all developing.

This is a growing trend with our “Government.” They recently passed the National Defense Authorization Act, which would allow the president and all future presidents to order the U.S. military to pick up and imprison people, including U.S. citizens — without charging them or putting them on trial. This would treat American citizens as terrorists, and there would be no due process, and indefinite detention. There was an amendment, called the Udall amendment, as well as another by Rand Paul, that would seek to strike the detention provision from the bill, but it wasn’t even considered by the sente. Right now a committee, led by none other than John McCain, is putting the final touches on this Anti-American bill that would further trample on our Bill of Rights, strip us of more freedom, and continue the destruction of our nation. This all under the guise of “Protecting us against the terrorist threat.”

    America is doomed! LOL.

A very important write up, people need to know about this stuff (and even more importantly about the National Defense Authorization Act Pete mentioned). Mind boggling how truly terrible these people are.

So glad I don’t live in America… These bills should not be allowed to pass. It would just be even more power to the already-powerful, and those who have no power already would be utterly helpless.

I’d feel nostalgic for a time when politicians actually had morals, but I don’t think there ever was one. :/

Here’s live feed of the SOPA judiciary hearing, this shit is going on right now- http://keepthewebopen.com/sopa

There will be a few agred ammendments and it’ll go right through as will the new bill on holding someone indefinately without due process.
Never is US history have so many human rights been stripped away. Obama is silent, vote him out on the next erection.

  8. Russell says:

Great piece. Very elucidating for a luddite like myself. But I’ll be goddamned if I can get on board behind some International Noise Conspiracy…

  9. The NDAA bill mentioned above is NOT law as of this writing. It is sitting on the Usurper-in-chief’s desk awaiting either a signature or a veto. These anti-freedom pro-NAZI bills are what you get when you let rigged electronic voting, ala Diebold, to exist. The system is hacked and has been since Bush for the benefit of the Federal Reserve communists. We need to realize these criminals are openly committing TREASON and arrest them as such.

  10. cluelessforeigner says:

i just have one question, does the bill give power to the american justice deparment to take action on sites where the creator lives on foreign soil?

  11. [...] But the other was for the US government, a government that has proven time and time again to be corruptible by special interests. Kim Dotcom, a fat [...]
