Bob Mould Set To Release ‘Silver Age’ On September 4th

On September 4th, former Hüsker Dü/Sugar front man Bob Mould will release Silver Age. His first new album since 2009’s Life and Times, the 10 track collection has been described as “punishingly loud melodically sparkling pop/rock.”

Silver Age will feature Mould’s current live backing band which includes drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy. Set for release on Merge Records the track listing is as follows:

Briefest Moment
Steam of Hercules
Fugue State
Round The City Square
Angels Rearrange
Keep Believing
First Time Joy

Mould will celebrate the release with a coast to coast tour. The shows will be broken into two sets. One set will feature a front-to-back performance of Sugar’s 1992 debut album Copper Blue while the other set will consist of a mixture of material from Mould’s long running career.
