Hi Jay. I would diflniteey encourage you to continue writing on this topic here as well as on your blog. Besides personally wanting that, I note that many people who frequent this site are independent musicians, or followers of independent music, who were introduced to this site by the “A Peaceful Solution” movement. As such, I believe that many are interested in new business models and distribution methods that are evolving in the music business. Furthermore, many of the causes that you have covered here at the WNPRI involve thinking people breaking away from the monolithic power entities that dominated before the current information / communications revolution. That movement is happening big-time in the music business.

I gave up on Nine Inch Nails the minute I heard the two disc wank-fest known as “The Fragile”. (A note to Mr. Reznor: You are in your 40’s! Lose the fucking angst, already!! I’m 36. Haven’t been angsty for going on a decade now. Try it, you’ll like it). I haven’t given Nine Inch Nails a second thought for years now. I Couldn’t imagine pissing away (angstily, mind you) $14.00 on a nen Nine Inch Nails anything.Mr. Reznor’s “new” music is just so much aural masturbation. Stop taking yourself so seriously, Trent. Angry, hopeless, sad little teeny’s don’t listen to Nine Inch Nails (not when they have so many unoriginal Emo bands to choose from), and adults have real problems to deal with, and don’t have time for a middle aged man with unresolved emotional baggage. Give it up, for fucks sake!!!!
