Free Shit: Company Of Thieves
Free Ticket Friday!
Free cool stuff kicks ass. We’ve got a feeling you agree. To test this theory, we’re going to start giving away tickets to shows that don’t suck every Friday, with other cool winnables as well (autographed CDs, t-shirts, posters, etc). Welcome to Antiquiet’s very first Free Ticket Friday- the first of many to come!
Company Of Thieves will be out in Los Angeles next week, playing with The Higher at the Knitting Factory on Thursday (April 30th). Wanna go?
If you’d like to check ‘em out, hit us up either here, on Twitter or Facebook and tell us about the craziest / stupidest / most random thing you’ve ever stolen, and how you swiped it. The two best stories (ah, but can you tell it in 140 characters or less?) will win a pair of tickets to the show and an autographed copy of Company of Thieves’ kick-ass debut, Ordinary Riches, available now on Wind-Up Records. Runner-up gets a lifetime supply of awesomeness, courtesy of Antiquiet. Make ‘em good, though! You’ve already gotta top disco balls and Vatican holy water, and that’s just our in-house crew.
Here’s an amateur video the band shot at the tail end of their most recent tour, looking over Horseshoe Bend in Arizona. The song’s called Even In The Dark, and does a great job of capturing singer Genevieve Schatz’s delicate yet soaring, Björk-esque vocal power, despite being shot hanging over an immense cliff. Hard not to fall in love.
