News: The Flaming Lips
Watch The Flaming Lips Cover Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’
Who knew that Bohemian Rhapsody would be the most covered song of 2013 (or 2005 as it may turn out)?
Fresh off a lackluster cover of the Queen classic from Puscifer, The Flaming Lips have posted a studio take of the beloved song to their YouTube account. Slightly NSFW and perhaps OFN but who cares? You can watch it for yourself down below.
In addition to a remake of the first Stone Roses album, The Flaming Lips will release their latest album of original material The Terror on April 1st.

This is old. Really old. It was on a Queen tribute album in 2005. Even this footage is old, wonder why they are just now posting it. Oh well, solid jam.
Yeah. I saw them play this song in Atlanta in 2005. Slow news day, I guess… Are we supposed to compare it to Maynard’s version?
Not a slow news day, the band just posted this to their YouTube account yesterday.
I have never heard it before. It’s actually pretty stock, it’s good, though. Cool video.
