News: Elton John, Queens Of The Stone Age
Elton John is Also on the New QOTSA Record
Holy balls, man. So as some of you may know, Dave Grohl is hosting Chelsea Lately all week. Which would have been big enough news for us to share with you, if Dave wasn’t already doing like 5,000 other things, that are even cooler, that we’re pretty much sick of talking about.
Well, Elton John was a guest on the show tonight. And Dave and Elton shared the bombshell news that they played together on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album. Our inside sources enthusiastically confirmed that there’s an amazing track waiting to be heard, featuring Elton, Homme, Grohl, Troy, Mikey Shoes, and Dean Fertita.

Great new addition to the guests, in my opinion.
I’m still pretty damn curious as to who the new drummer will be.
And yet, just like the last album they made; it will still sound like a cover band doing outtakes from the album that proceeded. Josh Homme really, really needs to get his ego in check before it ruins another good band.

But wait, there’s more! I’m almost willing to bet that Jack White is also up in this shizzle. Or at least someone else from that Sound City movie.
Here’s hoping it happens. How these two have avoided doing something serious with each other surprises me. Guess Dean will have to be that bridge that makes it happen…
White should be the new drummer! So crazy it almost seems possible.
