Depeche Mode Announce New Album, Tour in 2013
Depeche Mode has announced that they will be releasing an album in early 2013, their first effort since 2009′s Sounds of the Universe. According to lead singer Dave Gahan, “Martin [Gore]‘s been very prolific, written some great songs… I’m excited about where this one’s going; I think it’s going to be a more direct record, a punchier record…”
The band will then follow up the release of the record with a tour of Europe, the dates for which you can find below.

Although no dates have yet been announced, a North American tour is reportedly set to continue after the European dates.
