Dev Hynes (Blood Orange, Lightspeed Champion) joins Florence & The Machine covering Green Day’s Hitchin’ a Ride from Coachella. Check this weird shit out – and watch for an ear-piercing scream.
This may not be as great as Florence covering Cold War Kids, and it sure doesn’t give us goosebump convulsions like her duet with Josh Homme on Cash’s Jackson, but it’s one fascinating little take.
I love this band when they are playing other people’s songs…not so much when they play their own.
This is a really shitty cover of a terrible song. Fucking hipsters make me want to puke, and this is total hipster nonsense. Why in the world would anyone want to cover Green Day, especially this era of Green Day?
