Fang Island Debuts New LP ‘Major’ on NPR
Sargent House Records darlings Fang Island will release their second album, Major, on July 24th. You can hear it in its entirety now, via NPR.
Their 2010 self-titled debut was a kick in the pants, its otherworldly blend of churning guitar harmonies and precise arrangements book-ended poetically by the sound of erupting fireworks.
By all indications, Major expands upon the formula laid out by their stellar debut, adding in more complexity and vocals (which were used sparingly on the debut).
