News:  Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams Set To Release ‘Live After Deaf’ This Friday

By Reverend Justito

Good news for fans of Ryan Adams. The hard working singer, songwriter and lover of cats has just posted an intriguing message on his Facebook wall. It simply reads “Live After Deaf. Friday. This Will Not Be Repressed” and was accompanied by the below photograph.

While no additional details are available, many assume it is a collection of songs recorded on his recent solo acoustic tour in support of his 2011 effort Ashes & Fire. The title (a play on Iron Maiden’s 1985 concert record Live After Death) would certainly indicate as much as Adams returned to the road last year after announcing his retirement back in 2009. In total, Adams performed 73 shows in 14 countries during his Ashes & Fire trek. The sets featured song from Adam’s lengthy career dating all the way back to his days in Whiskeytown.

Update 06/13/12:

Pax-Am (Ryan Adams’ label) just posted the following information on Live After Deaf to their Facebook page:

Oh hey you guys, did you want more information on Live after Deaf ? OK.
