Listen To Fiona Apple’s Achingly Gorgeous ‘Anything We Want’
This is the one we’ve been waiting for. Back in March, Fiona Apple debuted a few new songs from her forthcoming new album at SXSW, and we were on hand to witness the promising new material. Since then, I’ve checked every single morning for the release of this song. Finally, today, the studio version of our favorite new track has been unveiled.
Apple’s trademark shimmering vibrato came into full light with the new song Anything We Want, an achingly naked, gentle-stepping dose of raw romance that doesn’t quite qualify as a ballad but is sweeter in spirit than nearly anything she’s ever done. It’s an enchanting tune – listen below:
