George Michael Releases New Single ‘White Light’ + Lyric Video
While Wham! isn’t reuniting, George Michael has just released his first single since his battle with pneumonia last year.
Titled White Light, Michael’s new song is a club banger that isn’t too far removed from some of the material on 2004′s Patience LP. It’s far more dancey than most were expecting, especially considering his latest project has been a symphonic tour — but it’s a slow burner of a club banger and will definitely get him some club spins with the right remixes.
The singer has posted an official lyric video on Youtube which you can watch below. The song is set for release on iTunes (and CD single!!) on August 12th.
Michael has been in the studio working on his first album since 2004. His symphonic tour is set to resume on September 4th in Vienna. Check his website for more info.
