News: Neil Young
Stream Neil Young & Crazy Horse ‘Americana’
Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s first album in nine years (one of two this year), Americana, doesn’t come out until June 5th, but you can stream it in full thanks to Rolling Stone now.
The album features Young and the original Crazy Horse lineup (Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Frank “Poncho” Sampedro) and consists of eleven covers of classic American folk songs with a rock n’ roll twist. “They’re the songs we all know from kindergarten,” Young states, “But Crazy Horse has rearranged them, and they belong to us.”
We previously brought you found-footage music videos for God Save the Queen, Oh Sushanna, Jesus Chariot (She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain), and Clementine, but now you can finally hear the album in full.
