News: The Throne
Kanye and Jay-Z Release Official ‘No Church In The Wild’ Video
One of the best tracks from last year’s phenomenal Watch The Throne just got a video treatment.
No Church In The Wild features emotionally stirring slow-motion cuts of police and protestors clashing on the streets of Prague, surrounded by fire and intense green lasers. Director Romain Gavras (who has also worked with Justice and M.I.A) used more than 200 extras to film the video, but neither Kanye nor Jay-Z make an appearance during the clip.
The video debuted during the Throne tour at the O2 Arena in London, but is now available online. Check it:
Kanye has been keeping busy this year, releasing several free tracks from his upcoming GOOD Music collaborative album, Cruel Summer. A short film of the same name debuted at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is due out at the same time as the record sometime in the next few months. Both Jay-Z and Kanye have hinted that another Watch the Throne could hit this year, certainly great news for fans of the duo.
You can head on over to Kanye’s site for the free Cruel Summer downloads.
