Josh Homme Goes Infomercial For Scissor Sisters’ ‘Magic Hour’
While we’ve been impatiently waiting for Joshua Homme and his Queens of The Stone Age to finish their new record (while dealing with some Law & Order type shit on the side), the big ginge has been honing his chops as an infomercial pitchman.
That’s right – now you can watch Mr. Homme give his glowing and eloquent appraisal of the new Scissor Sisters album Magic Hour, with only a slight taste of terrifyingly creepy sexual advances (1:08, here’s lookin’ at you):
“How much would you pay for a compact disc of unforgettable Scissor Sister tunes? Two hundred ducks? Nope.”
Magic Hour will reportedly feature guest spots from Pharrell, Diplo, Calvin Harris, and Azealia Banks under the alias Krystal Pepsy. So if you’re into that kind of thing, dig into the details on the official Scissor Sisters site. They put on one hell of a show, that’s for sure.
