Kanye Drops ‘Mercy’ on G.O.O.D. Friday
As promised, Kanye is following up the Theraflu track from earlier this week with his collective’s new G.O.O.D. Music single, Mercy, featuring Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz.
Buoyed by Warp Records’ Scottish electronic producer Ross Birchard, AKA Hudson Mohawke, the track is a dark underbelly to the same creep vibe that defined Niggaz In Paris from Watch The Throne.
Naturally, it’s Yeezy’s verse that attention centers on – and it’s designed as such, where the music cuts into a breathless rush as Kanye boasts about doing suicides on private jets. Dude’s running out of metaphors for “I’m rich, beyotch!”
Have a good Friday.
