Fiona Apple Returns with ‘Every Single Night’
We’re creeping towards the release date for Fiona Apple’s long-awaited new album, and first single Every Single Night has finally arrived.
The song isn’t your typical radio fodder, but Miss Apple has never taken the easy path to success. Nonetheless, it’s a delicate and lovely composition, particularly in the soft-plinking piano under her light-as-air delivery of “I just want to feel everything“. Like the feeling of lightly touching the fingers of the girl of your dreams in a handholding precursor tease, it’s an enchanting enticement that tickles the spine.

The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do arrives on June 19th. Every Single Night will be on iTunes beginning April 24th.
