Watch Radiohead Debut ‘Skirting On The Surface’ And ‘Sounds Of Orgy’
Merely a week into their The King of Limbs tour, Radiohead have already gathered a considerable amount of attention from their fans, after debuting two brand new songs (as well as an old b-side) at the first show of the tour. At last night’s concert in Dallas, the band surprised the audience again, by playing another new song, as well as uncovering a b-side for its live debut.
Firstly, the band debuted Skirting on The Surface, towards the end of the show. While the song had been already performed live by Thom Yorke on his solo tour, this marked the track’s first full-group performance by Radiohead. Watch it below:
However, before that, seven songs into the set, they performed 11-year-old b-side The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, for the first time ever. Watch the Kid A / Amnesiac-era song below – perhaps for the first time ever, given how little-known it is to all but diehard fans:
Rumor has it that Radiohead might still have a few more unreleased songs rehearsed and ready to perform on this tour. We’ll be at a few more, and of course we’ll keep you informed, in case it happens.
Our very own Steven Anthony was in Dallas to cover this show, and here’s his terrific review with photos.
