Radiohead kicked off their latest tour in support of The King of Limbs last week in Miami, where the band played two new, unreleased songs and a set leaning heavily on material from the last two LPs. Their shows in the interim have been just as exciting, featuring a number of fan-favorites and upbeat tracks – unlike their In Rainbows tour, which featured a majority of downtempo cuts.
Fans had been left wondering why no east coast shows had been announced, but this morning Radiohead answered that call, releasing a string of new dates sure to please our friends on the other side of the country.
The new tour dates are:
05/29 – Comcast Center – Mansfield, MA
05/31 – Prudential Center – Newark, NJ
06/01 – Prudential Center – Newark, NJ
06/03 – Verizon Center – Washington, DC
06/05 – Riverbend Music Center – Cincinnati, OH
06/06 – Blossom Music Center – Cuyahoga Falls, OH
06/08 – Bonnaroo – Manchester, TN
06/10 – First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre – Tinley Park, IL
06/11 – The Palace of Auburn Hills – Auburn Hills, MI
06/13 – Susquehanna Bank Center – Camden, NJ
06/15 – Centre Bell – Montreal, QC
06/16 – Downsview Park – Toronto, ON
Tickets for these dates go on sale March 8th, and if the other leg of the tour is any indication, they will sell out very quick. Jump on it. Check out Radiohead.com for the full details.
