Radiohead, Phish, RHCP To Headline Bonnaroo 2012: See The Lineup

By Johnny Firecloud

Bonnaroo has confirmed that Radiohead, Phish and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the 11th annual Bonnaroo Music Festival, set to take place from June 7th to 10th in Manchester, Tennessee.

The aforementioned headliners will be joined by Bon Iver, Skrillex, a reunited Beach Boys, Mariachi El Bronx, Alice Cooper and The Shins, as well as comedian Aziz Ansari and more than 150 bands and nearly two dozen comedians. Spanning 13 stages over the course of four sweltering days and nights, the festival is most definitely an experience unlike any other on American soil.

Honestly, we liked the fake lineup more. Would you rather hear Kokomo and geriatric Good Vibrations, or Darling Nikki and Purple Rain? Yeah.

Electronic acts include Flying Lotus, Major Lazer and Big Gigantic. Hardcore group Bad Brains will make their inaugural Bonnaroo appearance as will Spectrum Road, an all-star band featuring Cream’s Jack Bruce, Living Colour’s Vernon Reid, Carlos Santana’s wife Cindy Blackman, and revered organist John Medeski.

Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, February 18th at noon ET, at bonnaroo.com.

Prince missing off that lineup is a huge loss. Love him or hate him, he is still Mr Music.

yeah no prince. kind of a deal breaker considering the price to get to (and then INto) these things.
