Stream Mark Lanegan’s ‘Blues Funeral’ LP In Its Entirety
Mark Lanegan‘s first solo output since 2004’s excellent Bubblegum is now available for streaming, so you can finally hear the tunes of haunted romance and midnight hymns that we’ve been raving about.
Blues Funeral is set for release on February 6th via 4AD. Recorded with Queens of The Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures/Eleven multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes at his 11AD studios in Hollywood, CA, Blues Funeral features appearances from numerous friends and collaborators including Jack Irons (Eleven, Pearl Jam), Greg Dulli (Gutter Twins), Chris Goss (Masters of Reality), Josh Homme (Queens of The Stone Age) and, of course, the inimitable Johannes.

Link of the week! Thank you very much.
Just finished listening to all of it. Out of 12 tracks there was only one I didn’t like and thats not a bad return. The songs feel instantly recognisable due to their strong melody but that could be it’s downfall as generally those albums you connect with instantly, sometimes lack replay value.
A definite purchase.
Awesome, I am really excited to hear this in it’s entirety. Just going to lie down in the dark with a glass of scotch and give it the listen it deserves when I have the time tonight.
What are you wearing right now honey?
Pair of jeans, Red Fang t-shirt, a beard and male genitalia…
Intense listening!
