Watch A New Episode Of ‘Portlandia’ With Eddie Vedder
Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s beloved sketch comedy show Portlandia will premiere its second season on January 6th. Continuing a semi-progressive method of publicizing an episode of a show online prior to its televised premiere, the IFC has now made the second episode of the new season of Portlandia available online right here.
The latest episode, titled “One Moore Episode”, primarily highlights a humorous homage to Battlestar Galactica, which features special appearances by sci-fi paragons Edward James Olmos and Jeff Goldblum. What caught our attention, however, was an unexpected walk-on by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, whose appearance in such unfamiliar territories proved to be an absolute treat.
We have professed our esteem for Portlandia. The show not only offers a less dated arrangement of the sketch comedy format, but has also managed to soundly incorporate a wide array of proficient musical guests into its weekly sketches. The Decemberists, James Mercer, and Aimee Mann proved to be very welcome editions to Portlandia last season, and if this episode is any indication, we are guaranteed many more fine musical appearances in the coming season.

The first and last time I watched this show was when Colin and Jenny from the Decemberists were on and it was fucking painful. This episode (the parts I stopped and watched while skimming through) was pretty awful too.
And I know I should have a sense of humor about it, especially because obviously Ed appeared in it, but their attitude towards PJ kind of pissed me off. Mostly the retarded song they kept playing to make fun of their sound…it reminds me of every Death Cab worshipping asshole who has no idea what Pearl Jam really is or sounds like outside of Even Flow, doing a shitty impression of Ed that sounds more like a shitty impression of Scott Weiland or Scott Stapp.
Eddie Vedder queef’s, FRONT PAGE!!!!! FRONT PAGE!!!!
….fuck me…..
Yes, fuck you.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said via NME that he is currently roughing out songs whilst on tour and plan to take it into the studio later this year. He is also recording a song with two members of 80′s shit, poodle hair, metal band Ratt for the lols. Oh and he queef’d too.
