B. Dolan And Friends Say Film The Police
You don’t need Antiquiet to tell you that there is a lot of crazy shit going on in the world these days. With corporate greed and massive corruption choking our nation, the power of the people seems all too easy to overcome. While there is no one right answer to the question of how we’ve gotta deal with it, a group of well respected MCs have come together to remind you that you can still make a difference with tools as simple as cell phones.
Lead by B. Dolan, Film The Police features a hard hitting message from the likes of Toki Wright, Jasiri X, Buddy Peace and Sage Francis. An update of the N.W.A. classic Fuck The Police, the track calls to arms in holding corrupt cops accountable for their actions. The video for Film The Police features the above listed artists exchanging rhymes back and forth with various coverage of police brutality thrown in for good measure. From Occupy movements to BART Police shooting an unarmed man, the footage, while difficult to watch, is a reminder that all of us must do our part to keep those who abuse the law honest, no matter what side of the badge they are on.
