The Rare, Funny SNL Skit: Fallon, Sting, Bieber, More
On the rare occasion that Saturday Night Live actually manages to be funny, we feel a slight obligation to give the show a nod. Last Saturday, such a case occurred, as Michael Bublé was present for a sketch parodying his ubiquitous Christmas album, where he presented a fake duets album with (great impersonations of) Sting, M.I.A., and Thom Yorke, among others.
The sketch goes off to a really strong start, as Jimmy Fallon absolutely nailed his Sting impression (much like he did previously with Jim Morrison and Neil Young), and later impersonated the obnoxiousness of Justin Bieber and Russell Brand. Also noteworthy is Fred Armisen, who pulling off Thom Yorke’s schizo dance with disturbing precision. Watch below:
It’s sad to think that great moments like this have become such a rarity for SNL… and to wonder, how much of that was solely due to Jimmy Fallon’s participation?
Meanwhile, Michael Bublé continues to keep The Black Keys’ El Camino just off the top of the charts.
A tip of the hat to At Ease for the links.

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you ought to publish more about this topic, it may not be a taboo matter but generally people do not talk about such issues. To the next! Cheers!!
