News: My Morning Jacket
My Morning Jacket Provide An Alternative To Bad Christmas Music
For those of you not fully satisfied with Scott Weiland’s Christmas album, My Morning Jacket just came out with a significantly less-embarrassing alternative, in the form of a Christmas-themed iTunes Session EP.
Having last released their 6th LP Circuital back in May, the band is now putting out a collection of seven songs (and a half-hour long interview) for the Holidays. Their iTunes Session includes several covers of Christmas tunes, as well as Wonderful (The Way I Feel) from their last record, and two brand new tracks: Welcome Home and When The Bell Starts Ringing – the last of which is now a free download at the iTunes store.
My Morning Jacket’s iTunes Session is now available through iTunes. Its tracklist can be found below:
01. I’ll Be Home For Christmas (feat. The Head and The Heart)
02. Welcome Home
03. Please Come Home For Christmas
04. Christmas Must Be Tonight
05. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
06. Wonderful (The Way I Feel)
07. When The Bell Starts Ringing (feat. The Head and The Heart)
08. Interview
In addition to that, the band has also announced the release of a limited-edition 7″ red vinyl, containing Friends Again on the A-side and Outta My System (Alternate Universe Take) on the B-side.
My Morning Jacket are currently on tour across the US.

I have their first Christmas EP. It’s pretty ok. Not a huge fan of Xmas music.
