News: Kill Devil Hill
Listen to Kill Devil Hill’s (Pantera/Sabbath Supergroup) First Track
It’s been over a year since the announcement of “supergroup” Kill Devil Hill, but the band is finally coming around to releasing their debut album. The group, comprised of bassist Rex Brown (formerly from Pantera / Down), guitarist Marc Zavon (formerly from RATT / W.A.S.P.), singer Dewey Bragg, and legendary drummer Vinny Appice (from Black Sabbath / Heaven & Hell), just released Time And Time Again, the first single from their upcoming, self-titled record.
The track, which premiered on Revolver, stays true to the influences mentioned by Appice in an interview: ”like a cross between Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains and a little bit of Led Zeppelin thrown in.” Listen to Time And Time Again below:
Kill Devil Hill are set to release their self-titled debut in late March, 2012, and we’ll definitely keep an eye out for new songs until then. A few clips of demos can be heard on the band’s YouTube page.

Def AIC influence in the riff but there’s nothing wrong with that. The singer has potential. Not blown away but he may be just good enough to pull it off. Has a little bit of Phil in there too….
Not terrible. But I would still rather listen to their original bands than this.
Passes the smell test. Potential is there.
