The Kills Release Trailer For Upcoming Concert Film
Still enjoying the great momentum gained from their LP Blood Pressures, The Kills have just announced the release of a concert film, with footage taken from their concerts at the L’Olympia, in Paris, last November.
The as-of-yet untitled concert film was filmed by ”a bunch of friends and fans,” as stated in the band’s press release, and will see a release next year. The performance contained within is special for the inclusion of the ”Black Rooster Drum Corps and Choir”, a group of percussionists and backup singers assembled by The Kills to enhance the sound of some of the more complex songs from Blood Pressures. A trailer was released to promote the upcoming film, and it can be seen below:
While there’s still no release date set for that, The Kills have already announced their tour dates for early 2012 – ending with a special show to celebrate their 10th anniversary at New York’s Terminal 5:
