News: Electric Six
Watch Electric Six Get Grinchy As Shit
It’s already that time of year, bitches! No escaping it now! Starting Friday morning you won’t be able to escape the bleating hordes and their Christmas cheer, so you may as well suck it up and join the caroling.
Electric Six knows what’s up, having taken a detour from their Heartbeats and Brainwaves tour to stop in to the AV Club for a festive Holiday Undercover run-through of the classic, You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch. The song, originally written for the How The Grinch Stole Christmas TV special, was written by Dr. Seuss and Albert Hague, but performed by Thurl Ravenscroft.
Dig into all things Electric Six (if you know what’s good for you) here.
Thanks to Jerko for the heads up!

Cool, although I think it would have been better if Dick went more overboard with the falsetto (i.e., like how he sounded on “Danger! High Voltage!” and sporadically ever since)
The high parts of Danger High Voltage were Jack White.
Yeah but I meant the parts where Dick sang.
Other examples: “Pink Flamingos”, “Waste of Time and Money”, “Devil Nights”, or even “Gay Bar”
He’s got a repertoire of different vocal sounds but my favorite is the “Falco on crack” voice he does from time to time and I think that one would have been awesome here.
I was just hoping he’d work in the word “Devil”. He says it so goddamn well. “Deveeeel”
