The Kills Drop Tranny Shower Vid For ‘Baby Says’
With The Kills‘ fourth album Blood Pressures still ranking high as one of the best of 2011, the band just released its third single: Baby Says.
A clear highlight from the record, the song also got itself an official video, directed by Ben Crook. Be warned that the video deals with the theme of cross-dressing, so if you wouldn’t like to have images of a transvestite shaving in the shower associated to the song, give it a second or two of thought before clicking “play”:
The single’s B-side is also quite noteworthy. We admit to having missed the boat when The Kills recorded a wonderful cover of Frank Sinatra’s Willow Weep For Me a couple of years ago; now, it’s attached as a B-side to Baby Says, released on vinyl for the first time. We figured that’s enough reason to finally post it here, so, listen to Willow Weep For Me below:
