News: Doom
Doom, Thom Yorke & Johnny Greenwood Make Bad Music Together
As reported back in March, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood collaborated with hip-hop artist DOOM (previously MF DOOM), on “some duets songs and shit” full of “ill ass ideas and shit”, as DOOM himself put it. Now, one track from that collaboration has become available: Retarded Fren.
The track features DOOM on vocals, and was produced by Yorke & Greenwood – so there’s no proper duet here. It’s the first part of Complex, a compilation celebrating the tenth anniversary of Lex Records, featuring artists associated with the label. Listen to Retarded Fren below:
A new track from Complex will become available every Monday, for the next ten weeks, starting on November 7th. On the same date, a pre-order of the vinyl release will become available, and the vinyl itself will be released in January.

lex records wins for most clever compilation name at least
This sounds like a toilet flushing.
