News: Bon Iver
Watch The ‘Bon Iver’ Video Collection
The self-titled record from Bon Iver was arguably among the most impressive indie releases of this year. Today, a deluxe edition of Bon Iver is being released, containing no extra songs, but instead a collection of videos, one for each of the album’s ten tracks.
Following in the steps of what PJ Harvey did earlier this year, atmospheric visual accompaniments for each song were created, directed by Isaac Gale and David Jansen. While not a wholly innovative approach (Beck did something like this five years ago), it’s a trend that’s slowly seeing more adepts, and rewards listeners with a pretty good excuse to listen to the album again. All ten videos for Bon Iver can be seen on the YouTube playlist below:
The deluxe edition of Bon Iver is only available in digital format (for now), and can be purchased over at iTunes.

This man is the most overated person on the hipster scene right now. I just don’t get it, its like people are claiming him to be the Dylan of the now.
His music is boring, my mothers queefs are a sweeter sound than the drone coming from this guys asshole. Leave this stuff for Pitchfuck.
