News: U2
Listen To A Rare U2 Song ‘Blow Your House Down’
Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the past few months (with bad 3G reception), you’re probably aware that U2 are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic album Achtung Baby. The cover versions of the record brought a few nice surprises, but what the most avid fans were really looking forward to was the celebratory deluxe re-release, containing lots of unreleased material.
Today, one of the songs from that 10-disc package has been made available: Blow Your House Down, which had never seen a release – other than a few low-quality bootlegs. It shows a more stripped-down side of U2, not quite in line with the futuristic approach they took on Achtung Baby, which makes it all the more interesting. The Achtung Baby re-release is out today, and you can order it in a variety of formats here.

Alright, I’ll be the first to tell this guy, then: of all the albums considered ‘classic’ from ’91 Achtung is not among the best. Not even close. I feel like the only purpose of this guy writing for the site is so we get U2/Muse filler on slow news days
How dare you bash Fernando……..he’s a kickass addition to the Antiquiet. And Achtung IS a classic. Maybe you didn’t care for it, and you’re probably whining because this isn’t a PJ or RHCP review and Ten and BSSM were better albums. It’s a classic. Period. And imo, their best album.
And did I mention Fernando kicks ass? Keep ‘em coming man :)

I kinda like the song. I like raw U2 better than experimental U2 sometimes.
