Tom Waits Knows What Happens ‘After You Die’
Just two days ago, Bad As Me, Tom Waits (or as this server likes to call him, “the-coolest-man-on-earth-next-to-Bill-Murray”) seventeenth studio album, was released. And today, a bonus track from the album appeared by the holy grace of the interwebz, and thanks to the Table-Top-Lo Tumblr account.
After You Die is the name of the left-over track, and it doesn’t fell like a bastard at all. It’s a haunting, kind of scary song, sure to give a mild nightmare to your nephew/niece, little brother/sister or kidnapped child in your basement. It has a nice share of the traditional Waits signature sounds and acoustic instruments. The man sticks to his guns, which never fails him. Listen to it here via TableTopLo:
