Ryan Adams Introduces Black Metal Talk Show ‘Night Sweats’
If you are a fan of Ryan Adams then it should come as no surprise that the man has a passion for Heavy Metal music. As of late, Adams has been using both his Facebook and Twitter accounts to share his love of a specific style of metal known as Black Metal. Just in time for Halloween, Adams has posted to his YouTube channel an exciting new Black Metal inspired talk show called Night Sweats.
Decked out in full Black Metal makeup, the show is co-hosted by the beautiful Balphazar (aka Stella Berkofsky). After an explosive introduction, the first segment of the show features the two discussing a YouTube playlist assembled by Adams himself. Some of the highlights of the list include classic live cuts from Emperor and Darkthrone as well as rare Black Metal nuggets from the likes of Burzum and Moonblood. If the Scandinavian born heavy metal subgenre doesn’t tickle your fancy fear not as Adams has included both The Commodores and his most recent single Lucky Now as part of his YouTube playlist. Check out the latest:
The highlight of the Space Ghost Coast to Coast inspired talk show is an exclusive interview with former 106 Degrees member Joey Pizza. Adams shows no fear in interviewing Pizza, asking for his take on the comment Crusty J said about him in a recent issue of Spin Magazine. Pizza’s response is so intense; the programs producers had to filter it through the Songify iPhone application. The show finally wraps with Adams and Balphazar performing the show’s theme song with the most metal of instruments – a Sitar and a Banjo.
Adams most recent record Ashes & Fire is available now. As of press time, we were unable to confirm the rumor that the Vegan Black Metal Chef will appear on the next episode of Night Sweats.

Vegan Black Metal chef is insanely hilarious. And his recipes look damn tasty too. Thanks for that link.
