Watch Every Performance From Fallon’s “Pink Floyd Week”

By Morad Moazami

Jimmy Fallon, in his short-run as late-night TV show host, continues to redefine late-night television with his laid-back and friendly demeanor during interviews and his exhaustive commitment to bringing the best bands in today’s music scene to the forefront.

This week, as previously reported, was entirely dedicated to the legendary Pink Floyd. The week, aptly dubbed “Pink Floyd Week,” began with an excellent cover of Breathe by The Shins, and maintained its momentum with a myriad of spectacular performances: In The Flesh with Roger Waters and Foo Fighters; Luscifer Sam by MGMT, and Dierks Bentley’s surprisingly splendid country rendition of Wish You Were Here.

The extraordinary week came to a close last night with yet another beautiful performance: Pearl Jam’s profound, passionate cover of Mother, the classic yet underappreciated song from one of Floyd’s most essential records, The Wall.

Watch that performance, along with the many others from this memorable week below:

The Shins cover Breathe:

Roger Waters and Foo Fighters cover In The Flesh:

MGMT cover Luscifer Sam:

Dierks Bentley covers Wish You Were Here:

Pearl Jam covers Mother:

Big ups to The Audio Perv for most of these embeds.
