News: David Lynch
Karen O & David Lynch Team Up For ‘Pinky’s Dream’
While the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been mostly inactive throughout 2011, their frontwoman Karen O has kept herself busy. After covering Zeppelin with Trent Reznor, producing a play, and covering Willie Nelson for Chipotle, she’s now featured on movie director David Lynch‘s very first full-length record.
Karen O sings on Pinky’s Dream, the opening track from David Lynch’s LP Crazy Clown Time. The fascinating track, which premiered on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic can be heard below:
While Pinky’s Dream sounds pretty interesting, there’s no indication that the rest of the record won’t be comprised of random crazy shit. But hey, that’s what you’d expect from the title, right?
