Out of all the things promised by The Flaming Lips, releasing a song that lasts 24 hours was the most ambitious – and craziest – yet. And today, the world finally gets to hear it.
Entitled 7 Skies H3, the 24-hour long song is now streaming at this appropriately titled page. Be warned, however, that there’s a maximum of 999 listeners allowed at any given time. From what we’ve heard so far, it’s definitely… progressive.
13 “physical copies” of the song are now available to purchase, in the form of an HD encased inside an actual human skull, topped with chrome drips. If you have five thousand bucks laying around, you can be the very proud owner of one of them. Shipping included!
