News: The Decemberists
The Decemberists Get Chipper On ‘I 4 U & U 4 Me’
Another day, another new Decemberists track! We could get used to a pattern like this.
As the Nov. 1st release nears for their new EP Long Live the King, The Decemberists have released Forgone and Burying Davy to the world, as well as E. Watson. Today we see the arrival of I 4 U & U 4 Me. Check it out below:
Set to be released on November 1st via Capital Records, Long Live The King will feature songs that didn’t make the final cut from the bands most recent LP The King Is Dead. Per the bands press release, the EP from Portland Oregon’s favorite indie-folk rockers will feature mostly acoustic Americana-based material. In addition to five original numbers from The Decemberists, Long Live The Kingwill feature a cover of the Grateful Dead’s 1973 opus Row Jimmy. Showing up sporadically in the band’s live set over the past year, it will be interesting to see Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter collaboration.
Tracklisting For Long Live The King:
1. E. Watson
2. Foregone
3. Burying Davy
