Dave Grohl Joins Cage The Elephant, Saves The Day
The bad news: You are the main support on a major North American Arena tour and your drummer’s appendix just burst.
The good news: That major North American Arena tour is headlined by the Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl loves your band enough to fill in for your fallen companion.
That’s exactly what happened on October 11th in Salt Lake City Utah for up and coming rock and rollers Cage The Elephant. The Foo front man and Them Crooked Vultures skin pounder sat in for 6-7 songs including the bands rock radio hits In One Ear and Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked.
Check out the latter, in which we can see (once the cameraman gets his shit together) the unmistakable blur of hair and flailing arms of Grohl:
While we can’t confirm if Grohl actually removed the appendix of Cage drummer Jared Champion, Spin.com is reporting that Grohl will once again drum for the Bowling Green Kentucky based band when the two rock The Forum in Inglewood California on Thursday October 13th.
We’ll be there, rocking the fuck out.
