News: The Black Keys
Listen As The Black Keys Return With ‘Lonely Boy’
A few weeks ago, The Black Keys announced their surprisingly-fast return, with the upcoming LP El Camino. Today, they’re releasing its first single.
Lonely Boy, which opens the new album, was unveiled via a a weird, pretty low-budget video. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but it seems like the most basic possible excuse to post it on YouTube. But hey, it’s better than those stupid “lyric videos”:
El Camino, which so far seems to head on a more rock-oriented direction, will be out on December 6. You can preorder it here.

I like
“Not that there’s anything wrong with it” = “No it’s not weird because he’s black that’s not what I meant for real he’s cool!”
Really like this. I saw them support the Kings of Leon a couple of years ago and they blew us away but on getting the album I was really disappointed.
This sounds much better.
That guy stole all my dance moves….
FYI – If you are looking to buy a physical version it is cheaper to go through their label Nonsuch Records, it costs almost an extra $10 to order from The Black Keys site for the vinyl deal. I didn’t see anything different between the two package deals.
