Mastodon Assaults Your Face With ‘Spectrelight’
We got a press release from Mastodon just now. It contains a pummeling, shard-crusted musical fist to the face. Read words, then listen to the power of Spectrelight.
As of today, there’s roughly 504 hrs until the release of The Hunter by Mastodon, and yet there are still quite a lot of exciting details to be revealed in the days ahead. Tour dates, TV appearances, cool new merch, a few surprises in the works but you’ll just have to wait.
Until then how about a new viral video for the track Spectrelight. Once again, Mastodon is proud to feature vocal assistance on this track from their dear friend Scott Kelly of Neurosis, who had this to say about this long-standing tradition: “Mastodon approaches their sound honestly and from a mind at unity. I am honored to continue to be a part of their creative process, and to once again have the chance to join them on this expression that is undoubtedly their most adventurous work to date.”
