Listen To Mastodon’s Entire New Album
While it’s common practice nowadays for a band to stream their new album in anticipation of its release, Mastodon have gone an extra mile to promote their fifth LP, The Hunter.
Instead of just providing a regular audio stream, the band put the entire album in a single YouTube video, complete with visual accompaniments for each song. While there’s not much variety, it’s certainly a nice touch, and better than staring at a flash-based player. Oh, and the album will beat the shit out of you and your future children. In a good way. The Hunter, which sounds very motherfucking impressive so far, comes out on September 27. Stay tuned for our review.

I like it enough to burn out my eyes and cut off my tounge. This allows me to retain my hearing, which enables me to continue to listen to Mastodon.
This album is bada–, but a different bada– than previous albums. The riffs hurt my ears. God bless metal.
