Bridge School 2011 Lineup: Vedder, Beck, Foo Fighters & more
Looks like we’re in for another unforgettable Bridge School Benefit: Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Beck, Neil Young, Arcade Fire and Dave Matthews are some of the named unveiled in the initial lineup release of the acts joining Neil Young at his 2011 Bridge School Benefit concerts this fall.
The 25th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concerts will come alive once more on October 22-23 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Tickets for the two-day festival go on sale on September 16 through Live Nation.
Organized by Neil and his wife, Pegi, the Bridge School Benefit Concert is a (mostly) all-acoustic, non-profit charity event held every October; all proceeds from the event directly benefit the operations of The Bridge School. Incredible performances over the years have taken place from acts as varied as Trent Reznor to Buffalo Springfield.
The Bridge School develops and uses advanced technologies to aid in the instruction of children with disabilities, and has made a profoundly positive impact on the lives of hundreds and hundreds of children and their families since it began in 1987.
