Watch Tori Amos’ New Video For ‘Carry’

By Johnny Firecloud

Tori Amos has returned with the video for Carry, the final track from her forthcoming album Night of Hunters.

Beautiful symphonics frame Amos’ work on the keys, a delicate beauty supplementing assurances of remembrance and influence in the lyrics. We’ll go ahead and just accept the fact that Tori’s staring at the rafters with a half-crazy smile as she sings, like she’s aiming the song at a very-present fairy ghost while posing for a women’s-college senior portrait. The lady’s radiating joy and contentment, however, so we’ll have a double shot of whatever she’s having.

Fans can also head over to Amos’ Facebook and unlock the album’s opening track, Shattering Sea, by sharing the video with others. Tricky tricky.

Night of Hunters hits stores September 20th via Deutsche Grammophon. Pre-order your lullabies here, and see below for tracklisting and tour dates.

this song is amazing. My son Gavin was Tori’s hugest fan. He died in 2009 and always said she wrote songs that matched his life. I cant believe this one. Im totally in tears
