News: David Bowie
David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ Is Now a Children’s Book
You were high one summer night, listening to Space Oddity by David Bowie, pretending you were back in the 70′s. Weird images were coming to mind, illustrating the space passages Mr. Bowie was singing about… Remember that? No? Don’t worry then, because a Canadian artist named Andrew Kolb has just released a book of illustrations of just that.
In fact, it’s a children’s book. And it’s for free.
“Have you ever listened to a song and your mind’s eye is immediately filled with visuals?” Kolb says in a statement about the release. ”David Bowie’s classic space epic is one such song for me. Every lyric paints such a vivid picture…” he added.
