Listen To Beck’s ‘Stormbringer’ Cover
Our beloved Kibbe from Some Kind of Awesome was frothing at the mouth and spazzing excitedly this morning, which can mean only one thing: a new Beck song has appeared in the wild.
Have a listen to a cover of John Martyn’s Stormbringer, a beautifully soft reworking that recalls the shotgun-in-the-mouth days of Sea Change.
A tribute album for John Martyn (who passed away in 2009) is reportedly in the works, so look out for it soon. Stormbringer is said to be the first on the album, which is said to also include Snow Patrol, Robert Smith, Beth Orton, The Swell Season, Devendra Banhart and many more.
