News: Radiohead
Watch Radiohead Perform The King of Limbs From The Basement
Last night, Radiohead’s performance of The King of Limbs for Nigel Godrich’s From The Basement series was aired for the first time ever on Spain’s Canal+. The band, clearly comfortable in the studio’s intimate setting, readjusted each new song superbly to suit the more live and direct atmosphere of the sessions. The 55 minute-long, 10-song set mostly consisted of material from Radiohead’s latest effort; however the Oxford-ensemble also performed Staircase (previously debuted as a preview for the sessions), and The Daily Mail, a song that Thom Yorke regularly played with Atoms for Peace last year, as well as performing it last month with Radiohead at Glastonbury.
The series will not air in the U.S. until July 23rd, however thanks to the many wonders of YouTube and the Internet, you can watch the performance of each song below:
Skeptics uncertain of how the atmospheric King of Limbs could be projected into a live setting could finally put those doubts to rest, as Radiohead’s From The Basement session confirms that the band is surely ready to take their new material on the road, whenever they choose to do so.

Does anyone know what kind of midi pad Phil is using?
I really think that this is amazing. Every single track is insanely well thought out. The King Of Limbs Lives!!!
I do not like The King Of Limbs as a record at all, but Morning Mr. Magpie and Separator sound pretty great live.
Canal+ is a french TV channel.
For once let us be proud of something that goes on this shit can we call ‘french TV’.
The show was aired on the Spanish Canal+ not the French one, hence the report. ;)
There is no spanish C+. C+ is a private network and the show aired in France.
There is. Google it.
BBC have already blocked it. Nice.
Cunts.
