Charles Bradley Rocks One Of The Best Nirvana Covers We’ve Ever Heard
Spin Magazine released a shitty compilation of Nirvana covers today entitled Newermind, to celebrate the 20th birthday of Nevermind. Wait, did I say shitty? I meant mostly shitty. There’s a cover of Stay Away by Charles Bradley & The Menahan Street Band that totally kills. Check it out:
We sadly hadn’t heard of Charles Bradley before today, but have since dug up a few albums and a Daptone singles compilation. It’s all love at first listen.

No Time for Dreaming is an excellent album btw, although considering its on Daptone that’s not much of a surprise
