Bush Returns With A Promising ‘Song Of Winter’

By Johnny Firecloud

Well, never thought I’d say this once I passed my 17th birthday or so, but a new Bush song has arrived that’s not bad at all. And it appears that they’ve recruited Diplo and a Nordic warrior into the band.

Have a listen to The Sound Of Winter by Gavin Rossdale and Co., thanks to KROQ.

The band plans to return in full force this year with The Sea Of Memories, due for release on September 13 through Interscope. Bob Rock produced the album, which took a year to put together and had an original title of Everything Always Now. We’ll see how this turns out…

    Promising? Nah. No way.

  2. Thanks for posting the new single from The Catherine Wheel. Such an underrated band, it’s nice to have them back.

    Not nearly Nordic enough

  4. Rory says:

That was…uh…what I expected. Perfect for me really…I’ll just throw it on repeat and I won’t need a sleeping pill tonight.

  5. Elijah's Rain says:

Not bad…it’s gotta be tough to recapture those glory days, but I’ll listen with open ears. Snow Patrol has a new single out too, but I’m on the fence about it.

  6. Adrian Garro says:

It’s seriously not a bad song, especially not as bad as “Afterlife” or whatever it was called, the single that came out a year or so ago….I saw them last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and they sounded great. Rob Zombie is a good guitarist, too.

That ‘nordic, Rob Zombie, et al.’ is Chris fuckin’ Traynor, formerly of Orange 9MM and Helmet FFS!! And song is OK…Nothing special, though…

  9. Dan says:
