Watch My Morning Jacket On VH1 Storytellers
Jim James and the rest of My Morning Jacket took to the VH1’s Storytellers set on Friday night, sharing tales of inspiration and in-jokes behind a number of their songs. The experience was a gripping one, whether the One Big Holiday intro (which he credits the Beastie Boys’ No Sleep Till Brooklyn as an inspiration) or the gut-wrenching tribute before Dondante, in which frontman James broke down discussing the loss of his late friend.
